This is my “just because” gift.  Just because I felt like it, just because I was bored, and just because I think you’re awesome.

This was quite fun to make her, and I may do even more gifts in the future.

Got my husband to try The Sims 3. He doesn’t understand the “goal,” hahaha.

ETA: He played for about an hour and called it quits. I said he just hadn’t gotten the hang of it yet, to which he responded “no, it just wasn’t that fun.” Ah well. Maybe I’ll install TS2 for him and we’ll see if he finds it any more amusing.

My fiance is the same way.  He played Sims 3 for an hour (actually a little more than that; he got a kick out of making his green-clad Sim) , then he was like “I find it boring”.

This is the same guy who will play Minecraft all day and not say the same thing. *shrug*

I think it’s cute, but there’s one thing that I would like to suggest if I can.

When you answered the anon’s question and the question comes up in the orange/coral box, the text is actually really hard to read in it.  I actually had to highlight it in Chrome.  I would suggest making the text for that darker so that it’s easier to read.

But otherwise, I think it’s cute and this anon might be drunk or sommat.

So this happened...

I woke up yesterday morning after getting my daughter to the potty (fun stuff, that is) and I was getting ready to give her a bath when I found out there was no water.  For those who don’t know, we had a cold snap in the Midwest.  It sucked; it felt like 25 below at one point.  So naturally, I thought pipes are frozen.  So I call up the super in the apartment.  Turns out that someone’s apartment was getting flooded.

So I had no water for the whole day, and my in-laws told us to come over because can’t do shit without water (literally, can’t flush the toilet without water). So I couldn’t play Sims 3, but I did get some Sims 2 in.  Unfortunately, I’ve also had a migraine for the past 2 days.  So I’m not sure if I’ll be do any kind of photo editing tonight.  I’ll try though.
