I need a set schedule for releasing legacy stories...

My biggest thing when it comes to updating my legacy is how often to update it.  I read plenty of legacies that are updated regularly…like literally every day.  Then there are a few that I read which are updated once a month.

To me, both are extremes that I don’t want to fall into.

You see, I have several chapters of The Tickian Chronicles already written up.  I don’t want to release too often, because then I can’t keep up with writing AND playing (the computer I play Sims 3 on is also my fiance’s; and he’s on it practically all day).  But if I don’t release often enough (a la once a month) then I’d lose people—or be hounded by those who like to read the story to update.

I need a mean between the extremes.  So far the only happy medium I’ve seen is once a week, with a special extra post once a month (which I originally called “Where are they Now?” with the other family members getting a small recap.  But now this is where I can dump some of those side stories.

Anyways, for those who do read legacy stories (mine is considered an anti-legacy legacy story since it doesn’t follow most guidelines), what do you consider a “happy medium” for posting new chapters?
